Seriously? by FoxyScorpion Seriously? by FoxyScorpion
So let me explain...

There were a group of girls next to my table, and they just happened to point out that I was wearing a Pokemon shirt with Pikachu on it. They made fun of it saying that it was childish. The thing is, that they were people who typically wear the Hollister shirts.

Here, let me tell you why that's bullshit:
Let me ask you, have you actually been to Hollister California? The dates that I often see on the shirt: [link] Do those have any meaning at all to you?
I think not. You see, that's like me wearing a Target shirt around when I don't even work at target. I wear a Pokemon shirt because I do indeed love the games. Sure, it's not exactly 'adultly', but at least my shirt makes more sense than a shirt that has absolutely no meaning to me. I wear what I want, and typically it means something to me.
This also goes for the people who wear Aeropostale and Abercrombie shirts as well.

I have no qualms with someone wearing any of those shirts, if you like it, then wear it. That is the main point of this stamp. Why don't we all STFU about what other people are wearing when it has no affect on us? Of course, yes, there are some exceptions.

And that is pretty much what the rainbow part of this stamp meant, wearing anything you want without ridicule (in case some of you were wondering, I know I was XD).

Anyway, more or less this stamp was made to let out my frustrations. I'm sorry you guy's. ;_;

/has no idea why I requested a critique

This is the stamp maker: [link]

have to admit, i'd most likely rather wear a Hollister top than a pokemon top, but it's a personal choice and they had no right to judge you for that

Hollister is a cool clothing brand, and you can wear most of their stuff to the beach--or anywhere else.

I got hollister, and aeropostal shirts. I like to wear them because they are my style. I mean they have silver on it. Silver is da bomb to me. XD

Though I might prefer my shirts with wings, cute girly skulls, and heard on them. I also love my shirts with my favorite cartoon characters on them. Although I don't have to many of them. I have a lot more shirts with skulls on them even though my mother doesn't approve of them. XD

I love my shirts, and I'll wear what I want. Screw the people who think it is childish, or unpopulare ,or think that it looks bad!

I know. The stupidest things I've been hearing around deviant art is if you don't want to be labeled as such and such don't wear the clothing. Well excuse me. I'm not going to change just because people want me to. So they better stop labeling me.

Love Pink has comfortable shit, but I agree that it's kind of funny to see 'Pink' on something that's a completely different color.

Thankfully we don't get a bunch of that. Even so, my school can be rather bland in their choice of clothing. They like to go with those one color Hollister shirts with the name brand huge on it.

People will always make fun of others, unfortunately.

I wear poke mans and Zelda shirts.
I wear band shirts.

Exactly. I really like jeans from Hollister and American Eagle, along with some of their skirts and dresses. I typically go to Hot Topic for shirts and accessories. I don't really care what people wear, as long as they like it. As long as they don't insult me for what I'm wearing, of course.

Lol, I actually like them. I saw them a quite a few months ago, however, so perhaps they've changed.

I do too. Too bad people automatically assume that I go there because they think I'm trying to be 'Gothic'. Yes, I fully realize that Hot Topic isn't Gothic. If I had my way I would always wear Gothic, Punk, and Steampunk Lolita. Hot Topic is the closest thing I can get to what I like. I can buy Gothic stuff online, but it's fucking expensive.

I really don't care that often, and will dress in pajama's if I'm not feeling like dressing up that day. Lol, because Hollister is so popular, people feel like they absolutely have to wear it.

Agreed. If I had it my way it would be Gothic lolita, Punk Lolita, and Steampunk everyday, but I do not have the money to even afford it. One nice Gothic Lolita outfit can cost anywhere from $50 to $200 or more, same for the others.

yeah, if I had it my way, my entire get up would be oshare kei 24/7.
I love all the colors.
but, I can never find anything that can fit that style here in America and it's really frustrating

I despise American fashion sense lol;
South Korean online clothing shops have become my best friend recently (although I can't buy anything...) it's just the best clothes for real.

Oh no, you never find any interesting styles like that over here in America. You'd be lucky to find anything remotely Gothic around here, so you just have to go to Hot Topic pretty much (which isn't really Gothic anyway).

I love going on Ebay and just searching up what I like. It's just too bad that I know I won't be able to buy it.

While I know this is sort of random, sometimes I'll go on Ebay to look up Doujin's, but their always in Japanese, and the ones I really want I could never read unless I took Japanese. It's sort of frustrating, your lucky to know Japanese. >.>
Of course, I'll probably try to learn it, but not just for anime and manga (hate it when people do it just for that), I would like to know it in case I actually decide to go to Japan.

I really hate it when some people in our school (I think you'll know who I'm talking about)use baka, or kawaii when they speak sometimes. It's quite annoying. Why even speak it if you only know 2 or 3 words? Actually learn the language.

MOTHER OF GOD I KNOW EXACTLY WHO YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. at least, I think I do; they're not in high school yet, right? haha
it literally kills me a bit inside. and like, they used "baka" and such incorrectly and in front of my Japanese professor, I was thoroughly embarrassed
those are the kind of bros I dislike the most; like, I don't even use Japanese that much because like, I know I'm not that great, and I fear of messing up...but then there's these guys who are just flaunting their misuse like it's no big deal haha it's... well, yeah, embarrassing....

Yeah, nah, I'm not learning just for manga and anime (though, not having to read subtitles and wait for english releases are definite perks~ ;D); I have intentions of going to (and hopefully moving to) Japan, plus I like to watch interviews with my favorite bands, which are pretty underground even in Japan, so, like, they don't get subbed haha it'd be nice to understand them lol

Some of them indeed are. I know there was someone on the swimming team who's in my grade who used to do that (once again, I think you know who I'm talking about). Lol, but I haven't hear any middle schoolers doing it. I've heard Madison Central has several weebs in it.
Lol, I took Chinese for a little while, and even when Jesse was around I wouldn't speak much. I was hoping I could take up classes again, but the only place I know to go to is in Lexington and they only teach on Sunday. I'll probably try to take Chinese again in Junior or Senior year. Possibly once I get into college.

Agreed. I typically watch major fight scenes in English, but sometimes the English dub sounds horrible. D:
Be nice not to have to read subtitle's.

What sort of job are you hoping to get in Japan? If, of course, you do indeed move there.

[First of all - sorry for the crappy English xD]
I completely understand you. - And here in Germany all the people are going crazy if it comes to Hollister, and because of that I'm slightly losing my tolerance. Because it's so "trendy" and fashionable and everyone should wear it (oO). Then I personally always feel a little lonely because I think.. I don't like the motif, because I can't stand all the plaid shit (sry), and.. No one understands me! xD Everyone is like: "Hey, let's go to Hollister", and I'm like: ... uh... Inside the shop it's really dark and there are always half-naked boys in front of the store ([link]). I don't like it! And everyone is asking me so very surprised (as if it was abnormal!) why I don't like the shop! Q,Q

Nah, your English is better than most who are from another country.

I know, people here in America absolutely love Hollister. Sometimes, though, it gets kind of bland. Many of the people at my school wear the one colored shirts with the name Hollister on it, and it quickly gets old. It's a shame, though, because Hollister actually has some nice floral skirts and dresses.

OMG, I can hardly handle the freaking overload of perfume they have in the store. That stuff even sticks to the clothing. I can't believe your store has half-naked guy's in front of it, ours certainly doesn't. XD

Just tell them you don't care much for Hollister. XD
